Payments and protection
6 questionsProduct and service payments made through Bizlinka checkout are held until you confirm completion for each vendor order (released no sooner than 72 hours after payment), or automatically at the weekly payout run once 7 days have passed since the seller marked it shipped or ready for pickup (so 7–13 days). Bizlinka shows the payment and order stages, and you can report a problem from the order if something goes wrong. Event tickets are protected too: they are issued straight after payment, and the organiser is paid only after the event has ended (plus 48 hours); if the event is cancelled, Bizlinka refunds every ticket buyer.
How protection worksGo to Dashboard → Orders, open a paid order and choose Raise a dispute (or report an issue from Dashboard → Jobs for services). Describe what went wrong in at least a few sentences. Funds remain held while our team reviews the case.
Go to my ordersWe review the case and may mark it under review while we check details with you and the seller. The outcome is either a refund or release of funds to the seller, not an instant bank chargeback. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with where possible, otherwise to your Bizlinka wallet. We acknowledge a dispute within 3 business days and decide it within 10 business days.
Bizlinka supports payments through Paystack, which accepts Nigerian bank cards, bank transfers and USSD. All transactions are processed in Nigerian naira.
For orders paid through Bizlinka checkout, sellers receive payment when the buyer confirms completion for that vendor order, but never sooner than 72 hours after payment. If the buyer does not confirm and raises no dispute, payment is released automatically at the weekly payout run once 7 days have passed since the seller marked the order shipped (with proof) or ready for pickup, so 7–13 days after shipping. An order that is never shipped is never paid out: the buyer may cancel it once the ship-by date passes, and it is cancelled with a full refund two business days after that.
8% of the item price under ₦10,000 and 5% from ₦10,000. The commission is never less than the payment processor's fee on the order total, delivery included (1.5% + ₦100, with the ₦100 waived on orders under ₦2,500, capped at ₦2,000). When that fee is higher it is charged as a minimum fee instead, split between sellers by their share of the order, and the vendor order breakdown shows it as "Minimum fee". It applies to card, transfer and wallet payments.
